Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division participated in career guiding events of the leading Russian universities

Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division took an active part in the traditional career guiding events that were held in the industry-specific and leading universities. 

In particular, the Job Fair for the students and graduates of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alexeev dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the University, was attended by the team from Atomstroyexport JSC and Atomenergoproekt JSC (part of Rosatom State Corporation Engineering division)  that shared information about the activities of the Division, career perspectives and possibility for students who are trained in the specific areas. In total, 100 employing companies participated in the event. This year, the Job Fair was held at the platform of Digital Career Environment of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, which was launched in September 2021 based on inter-university career service Facultetus uniting over 430 universities of Russia.  

Besides, within the framework of the annual cycle of career guiding events, St.Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering held an on-line fair of vacancies, which was attended by over 50 Russian companies and state structures. St.Petersburg branch of Atomenergoproekt JSC presented the activities of the design institute, the existing vacancies and the basis for on-the-job training for over 70 students of the industry specific areas.  

National Research University MEI held an open door day for over 1200 school graduates and their parents in the course of which the team of the Engineering Division presented the specialized faculty and professions and gave a view of career possibilities, requirements for employment and conditions of on-the-job training. 

According to Konstantin Fokin, Chief Expert of Center of Career, Assessment and Development of ASE JSC Personnel, the Engineering Division supports career-guiding events held at universities:  “Regular interaction with students and school graduates in the face-to-face and on-line form is an important part of systematic work for the development of HR potential of our companies. On the one hand, such events help our students to openly communicate with representatives of the employing companies and understand what additional skills they need to be successful, on the other hand, the employers have a chance to sel ect the specialists they need for on-the-job training”.
