Mikhail Philimonov, General Director of the State Enterprise Belarus NPP expressed his gratitude to the staff of Volgodonsk Installation Division LLC (VdMU LLC - an organization of the Engineering Division of the State Corporation Rosatom) for the high quality of work during the installation and commissioning of the main equipment of the turbine halls of power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the Belarus NPP (the General Designer and the General Contractor - Engineering Division of the State Corporation Rosatom).
In a letter addressed to the general director of VdMU LLC Vyacheslav Mikhailov, the head of the enterprise - the construction customer, mentioned the high professionalism and good conscience of the employees who performed the work.
“Words of gratitude are always pleasant, and even more so from the construction customer. The Volgodonsk Installation Division is a team of professionals of the highest level, performing work efficiently and on time at all Rosatom facilities, - said Vyacheslav Mikhailov. “The experience gained while working with the Belarusian customer will be used by us when working on other projects.”
The Belarus NPP having two VVER-1200 reactors with the total capacity of 2,400 MW is being constructed in Ostrovets (the Republic of Belarus). The Russian GenIII+ design was chosen for the first nuclear power plant in Belarus, which fully complies with the international standards and the safety requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
