The Rosatom Engineering Division has Conducted the First Supervisory Audit of the Integrated Management System

Atomstroyexport JSC (ASE JSC) and Atomenergoproekt JSC (being part of the Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division) have undergone successfully the first supervisory audit of the integrated management system against the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 international standards (quality management system), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management system) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). The audit was implemented by the Russian Register Certification Association.

Due to the severe epidemiological situation, the audit was carried out in a mixed on-site/off-site format at the company's sites in Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Belarus, Hungary, India, Finland and others. The Engineering Division undertakes continuous measures to maintain and improve the integrated management system, by promoting new areas for improvement. In particular, a plan to implement ISO 19443:2018 (GOST R ISO 19443-2020) “Specific requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2015 by nuclear power supply chain organizations providing nuclear safety-relevant products and services” was developed in ASE JSC and Atomenergoproekt JSC.

The auditors have concluded that the applicable integrated management system is operating effectively and complies with international standards and requirements of the ROSATOMREGISTER certification system of the “Rosatom” State Corporation. The auditors acknowledged the ASE JSC and Atomenergoproekt integrated management system’s capability to achieve established goals, respond effectively to risks and take opportunities in the changing environment, with the quality and safety principles in NPP construction being their top priorities.

“The Engineering Division has confirmed once again the reliability and effectiveness of the integrated management system and its compliance with international reference standards. The presence of such a system allows taking balanced management decisions to achieve both the division and Rosatom State Corporation’s strategic goals connected with the NPP design and construction in Russia and abroad, with maintaining the quality and safety principles as top priorities”, pointed out the integrated management system management representative - ASE JSC Quality director Sergey Gushchin, who organized the audit work in the division.
