ASE JSC Vice President for Digitalization and Information Technologies (as part of the Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division) Olga Tolstunova has taken part in the VII annual Forum "Port Infrastructure: New Construction, Reconstruction, Modernization”. The event was organized with the support of the RF Ministry of Transport, the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport and the Association of Commercial Sea Ports.
The forum’s business and exhibition programme included three topical units, such as: strategies and investments; efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness; technological innovations in ports.
During the second day of the forum, Olga Tolstunova presented Multi-D digital platform developed by specialists from the Engineering Division and spoke about its potential hands-on application in the construction of large capital construction facilities in various industries.
“The Multi-D is a domestic technology developed by Rosatom specialists to manage the construction of complex engineering facilities. The platform ensures that the up-to-date information model is generated and supported throughout the entire life cycle of a facility and complies with all up-to-date international standards. The Multi-D and its products are widely used in the construction of nuclear power plants and make it possible to implement projects within the specified time-frames and in compliance with the required quality and terms of construction,” ASE JSC Vice President for Digitalization and Information Technologies commented.
The event was attended by more than 200 delegates, including representatives of the port business, regulatory authorities, experts and analysts, investment and financial institutions, harbour engineering contractors, providers of services, technologies and equipment for the harbour engineering and operation, logistics companies.
In a few years, the forum has established itself as a high-profile business platform, allowing to discuss strategic plans and topical issues in the development of the port industry related to infrastructure projects management, building of the high-tech and safe port infrastructure, increasing the competitiveness of Russian ports and integrating them into global supply chains.
