ATOMEXPO-2022 will be Discussing Prospects for the Development of Digital Engineering in the Construction Sector and Industry

On November 21, as part of the XII "Atomexpo-2022” International Forum in Sochi, Atomstroyexport JSC (Rosatom's Engineering Division) will be holding a round table dedicated to the topic: «Digital engineering. Fiction and Facts.

The round table will be attended by representatives of the RF Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utility, the RF Ministry of Education, the St-Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great, Minskmetroproekt JSC, Gazpromneft STC LLC, NIPIGAZ JSC, the South Korean KHNP company, TsPTI JSC, NOSTROY Association of the Rosatom State Corporation, Atomstroyexport JSC and others.

The round table will be held in the format of a 2-round discussion. The first round will be dedicated to digital management in construction, the second one - to a new direction in the application of BIM standards.

The leading experts and market leaders in the construction of large capital projects will discuss topics dedicated to how far the industry has advanced in terms of a data-centric approach to construction site management, what the perfect interface between the professional construction community and regulators looks like, what the main components of the successful BIM standards application are like, etc.

Olga Tolstunova, Atomstroyexport JSC Vice President for Digitalization and Information Technologies, will be demonstrating Rosatom Engineering Division's experience in using its own Multi-D technology, to provide digital support for NPP construction projects; moreover, she will be telling of what corporate digital assets are like, how to manage them, and what needs to be done in order to make decisions based on the complete and reliable data about the construction project.

 Aleksey Borovkov, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation of the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, will be talking about management decisions that construction customers could take if they had digital alter egos at their disposal.

Andrey Nikolaev, Head of the NIPIGAZ JSC Department for Architecture and Implementation of Information Systems will focus on promotion of the construction industry in terms of the data-centric approach to construction site management.

 Alexander Kochegarov, Head of Capital Construction Digital Transformation Programmes at Gazpromneft STC LLC, will share his experience of interaction between the professional community and regulators.

 As part of the round table, it is also planned to discuss execution of the documents regulating private and public companies’ activities in terms of using the digital data at all stages of the construction facility life cycle, demonstrate best practices and encouraging examples in the field of digital construction management.
