ASE Branch Office in Bangladesh becomes the best overseas receiving company for student construction teams

ASE JSC Branch Office in Bangladesh (being a part of Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division) has accepted a title of the best overseas receiving company for student construction teams (SCT) in the nuclear industry.

The best participants of SCT movement were awarded by Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom State Corporation, at the VIII industry-based meeting of student construction teams (SCT) in the nuclear industry, which took place within the II International Construction Championship in Kazan. The head of Rosatom thanked the participants for their great personal contribution in the development of student construction teams, organization and high performance efficiency, high-quality execution of assignments at capital construction facilities in the nuclear industry.

The rating of receiving companies is based on the results of students’ voting that evaluated the living environment, labor conditions and the organizational level of leisure time and career guidance activities. Atomstroyexport Branch Office in Bangladesh competed for the title of honor with ASE Branch Office at the construction site of El-Dabaa NPP in Egypt and branches of Concern Titan-2 JSC at the site in Egypt as well and at Akkuyu NPP in Turkey.

In total, more than two thousand students worked at different Rosatom facilities in 2022, among them 108 in international projects of Belarus NPP, Akkuyu NPP, Rooppur NPP and El-Dabaa NPP. The students carried out various construction activities from landscaping of plants premises to head-on NPP erection. Apart from work, they took part in social projects and became familiar with Rosatom’s activities.

The project of international SCT is being implemented in Rosatom’s Engineering Division since 2013. The first student construction team was sent to Belarus NPP. Later on, the students visited NPP construction sites in five foreign countries.
