Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division acts as a design and technology partner for information and cyber-security in the largest cyberimmune protection hackathon organized by Kaspersky Lab.
From April 17 to 28, the participants of the hackathon need to design cyberimmune solutions in the online format for further implementation in the educational infrastructure. The IT specialists will develop solutions for building a secure system at the architecture level that cannot be compromised.
Employees of the cybersecurity department of Atomenergoproekt JSC participate in the hackathon as invited experts: Stanislav Nesterenko, leading design engineer, and Anastasia Erisova, design engineer of the 2nd category, who interact with the work performers, consult them and evaluate the proposed solutions, which they will later verify.
“Participation in such a large event will allow our specialists to offer their educational tasks in the form of a system concept and comments on safety goals and proposals, as well as take part in the evaluation of the results of the teams’ work. This experience will make safer our design solutions in the nuclear power industry,” said Konstantin Ilyinsky, First Deputy Director General - Director of St. Petersburg Branch of Atomenergoproekt JSC.
Improving the efficiency of work in the field of IT, including the use of artificial intelligence, is one of the six priorities outlined by President of the Russian Federation for 2023. The IT industry is growing, providing both technology import substitution and the development of unique domestic solutions for the real sector of the economy. Major Russian companies assist in strengthening the educational base for training of new personnel. Rosatom and its enterprises are involved in this work.
