The Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division assisted by the network of Atomic Energy Information Centers (AEIC) has supported for the fourth time the nationwide patriotic «Winter Route» labor project of the Republic of Belarus and organized the intensive «NPP in Full View» training course. The training took place at the All-Belarusian «It’s Time to Be Moving!» rally of student teams in Minsk.

The educational training aims to introduce the leaders of Belarusian student teams to the current nuclear industry agenda and improve their competencies in public speaking to school audience as part of the «Winter Route» project.
The training was held in four areas: nuclear technologies, nuclear energy fake stories, radiophobia stereotypes, communication skills. The course participants took part in the «Atoms Nicely Fitting Together» brain game dedicated to astronomy; on top of that, they learned about operating principles of various power plants at the «Atomic Workshop». The training included as well communicative and logical games, master classes and introduced the participants to the works of the ASE International News Photography Awards Contest held in the countries, where NPPs are being built. A total of 400 students took part in the «NPP in Full View» training course, and more than 3,500 people participated in the student teams rally.
Speaking to the audience of the rally, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that student teams were one of the highlights in the young people's life and expressed his hope for the joint development of the country. «Do not lose your passion for work. Remember that your ideas and inexhaustible energy are the engine that makes Belarus forge onwards. I know for sure that we are in for further large-scale discoveries and achievements, Because this is the need of our time, and this time has chosen us», the president said.
For reference: The Belarusian patriotic «Winter Route» labor project is organized by the Belarus Republican Youth Association Headquarters of Student Teams supported by the Ministry of Education and executive authorities.
The «Winter Route» project is a set of events aimed to promote young people’s responsible citizenship and unlock their labor, communicative and creative potential. The project participants organize career counseling for students in rural areas, introduce schoolchildren to the possibilities of nuclear energy in Belarus, and to the areas of activity of the Belarusian Republican Youth Association and the Belarusian Student Teams.
