Olga Tolstunova, ASE JSC Vice President for Digitalization and Information Technologies took part in the “Russia’s Technological Sovereignty: Products and Services” session which was held as part of the 28th Russian Internet Forum (RIF), dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Runet.
The RIF unites the IT industry, acts as a platform for communication and a main IT networking event in the country.
At the “Russian Technological Sovereignty: Products and Services” session, the participants export-oriented strategies, the most attractive markets for Russian service companies and export development trends. Particular attention was paid to the CIS countries.
Despite external circumstances, Rosatom remains the global leader in the export of peaceful nuclear technologies. When constructing any large capital construction facility, including nuclear power plants, international customer’s requirements include meeting the deadlines and keeping the required value-for-money ratio. However, another indicator has become recently increasingly important, namely digital technologies that help manage a facility during the operation stage. Today, the Engineering Division can provide the customer with an information model, i.e. a digital avatar of this power unit complete with the power unit itself. MULTI-D digital products help collecting the data for the information model and unite all process participants in a single space at the design and construction stage,” said Olga Tolstunova.
Also, during a panel discussion, ASE JSC Vice President for Digitalization discussed, together with top managers of the leading Russian IT companies, including Nikolay Apurin, ARTWELL General Director and Oleg Afanasyev, RuStore Product Director, the development and export of domestic digital solutions, as well as support measures necessary for a qualitative transformation of the IT industry.
The RIF is one of the main professional events of the Russian Internet industry, which has been held since 1997. The forum is aimed at popularizing high technologies among end users in Russia. This year, RIF has acquired a new format, thus becoming an urban Internet festival that combines business, educational and entertainment programs for IT companies, digital agencies, startups and representatives of the government and business.
