Over 900 students participated in the third round of the “Team Juniors” international educational project organized by the Engineering Division

The Engineering Division of the Rosatom State Corporation has started training of upper form pupils and college students in the third round of the educational “Team Junior” online project. The project is aimed at acquiring key engineering knowledge and development of basic skills in information modeling of buildings based on the Russian software. 

The curriculum consists of 50 online classes, in which participants from 60 regions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Egypt, Germany and Argentina will be able to top off their personal portfolios with designs of residential and industrial buildings. The students will also take part in creating 3D models of up-to-date educational institution complexes and be able therefore to contribute to the actual improvement of Russia's educational infrastructure.

Moreover, the participants will get acquainted with nuclear industry enterprises and the areas of the State Corporation Rosatom activity in the process of the training. And the team format of the project will allow young people to become part of a community of people sharing common goals and interests.

"The TIM-Juniors project is an important link of the "school - university - enterprise" chain," I am confident that the project tasks will allow the participants to try out their engineering profession in practice and make an conscious choice of the university in order to enter our industry in the future. The “Team Juniors” project is promoted by: Atomenergoproekt JSC, St-Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPBGASU) and Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (NNGASU).

870 upper form pupils from Belarus, Egypt, Turkey and Russia participated in the second round of the project. The graduates created information models of six Russian schools located in St. Petersburg, Moscow, the Rostov, Chelyabinsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions, as well as in the Khabarovsk region. The work of team juniors helped municipal and regional authorities to better plan reconstruction of these schools.

In 2024, the “Team Juniors” project entered the top 100 of the “Russia - Land of Opportunities” award; it was presented as an example of best practices at the World Youth Festival in Sochi and won the Nizhny Novgorod Prize in the Education nomination.
